Newnan magician opens for 'Night Court' actor

Newnan resident and professional magician Ken Scott recently opened for Harry Anderson, who played the Judge on the hit television show Night Court. Anderson went on to play the leading role in Dave's World.

Ken Scott was the producer and performer of a production called SEAM (Southeastern Association of Magicians) held in Atlanta last Saturday. The evening show was a sell-out.

"Ken was great and the audience loved him," said Harry Anderson.

"I had a great time producing this convention and performing," said Scott. "I met some great people from all over the world."

Scott is on tour performing his educational shows across the United States in schools. In these programs, he uses magic to show how important reading and math is for students.

Ken Scott was voted Greater Atlanta Entertainer of the year. He was featured on CNN Headline News, where he headlined a segment on A Day of Magic. Ken performs yearly in Hollywood at The World Famous Magic Castle, which is home to the Academy of Magical Arts. Ken has also been invited three times to perform at the White House.

Scott is well known to local audiences as a regular performer for summer reading program at area libraries.
