In your opinion, what makes someone a good communicator?

In my role as a sales person and consultant, this is a skill I continue to work on and grow. It’s the most important piece of what I do. Building a relationship is the first most important thing a good communicator can do. Listen carefully, ask questions, take the time to understand, watch body language, keep an open mind to ideas and suggestions and keeping things on the fun side go a long way.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

I love this question. From my Grandmother: Accept and appreciate people for who they are – they aren’t going to change to suit you! My dad once said, “If you are going through a tough time, hold on, this too shall pass.” It always does! And the best thing I’ve learned along the way is that the only thing we are completely and utterly in control of in our life, is our own reactions.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

My bucket list is full of fun and beautiful places I’d like to visit but this one is a no brainer for me! Greece is my dream destination – something about the clear blue water, crisp white buildings against a bright blue sky. My vacations are all about the food, food, food. I love Greek food, the traditions, family culture and would love to surround myself with it! Cheers!
