Odyssey seeking Touch A Truck participants

The PTO of Odyssey Charter School is seeking businesses and individuals with unique trucks or other vehicles to participate in the 3rd annual Touch A Truck event, to be held June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ashley Park.

Touch A Truck that allows kids of all ages to see and touch all of their favorite vehicles and talk to the people who drive them. The annual event is a fundraiser for the school.

Chamber holds ribbon cuttings

Several Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce ribbon cuttings were scheduled for May.

A ribbon cutting for Piedmont Healthcare Cancer Wellness was held May 1.

A ribbon cutting for NuWay Realty will be held May 13 at noon at 75 Waters Lane, Sharpsburg.

A ribbon cutting for Jimmy Rich’s State Farm office will be held May 27 at noon at 75 Jackson Street, Newnan.

Kroger customers donate more than $179,000 to Relay for Life

Kroger customers in the Atlanta division donated more than $179,000 from April 13 to 26 to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life campaign.

The Atlanta Division includes 184 stores in three states.
