Grill winner Andrew Cothran and Southtowne general manager Steve Mader.

SouthTowne Motors in Newnan has announced Andrew Cothran of Tallapoosa, Georgia, as the winner of their recent Big Green Egg Grill giveaway.

Cothran is SouthTowne customer, and he and his wife Erin recently purchased a Cadillac ATS from Southtowne last November.

Cothran received the unique cooker complete with a Nest Handler, Class IV towing package, briquettes, tools, “and of course, one of the most unique cookers in the world, The Big Green Egg,” said SouthTowne general manager, Steve Mader.

The package is worth, roughly, $2,200.

“We are very happy for Mr. Cothran. This really is one amazing cooker. Even better though, Mr. Cothran is an amazing customer. They are part of our SouthTowne family and have purchased multiple vehicles from us,” said Mader. “Of course, this means that I’ll be expecting a dinner invite soon.”

The Big Green Egg Company was founded by Ed Fisher in Atlanta more than 30 years ago as he set out to bring a modernized version of the ancient kamado-style cooker to the American culinary marketplace. His product, the Big Green Egg, is constructed from advanced ceramic materials and is widely acclaimed as the best kamado-style cooker in the world.

The SouthTowne General Motor Superstore is located on Bullsboro Drive in Newnan.
