Legendary golfer Lee Trevino is a new brand ambassador for Yamaha Golf-Cars. Trevino was introduced as the brand ambassador at the PGA Merchandizing Show in Orlando.

The Yamaha Golf-Car Company has been headquartered in Newnan since 1988, and the vehicles are manufactured at the Yamaha facility off Hwy. 34 East.

Trevino bought his first Yamaha Golf Car 22 years ago for getting around his Texas ranch; he bought a second one last spring.

“What a wonderful and prophetic opportunity to be able to welcome Lee Trevino into the Yamaha Golf-Car Company family,” says YGC President Tom McDonald. “It is hard to imagine an iconic figure like Lee having a more tangible connection and high regard for any other brand than he does with Yamaha.”
