Chamber wins national award for Prosperity's Front Door campaign

The Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce's "Prosperity's Front Door" community marketing and branding campaign received an Award of Excellence in a national competition sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, a national association of professionals who manage chambers of commerce.

The campaign brought together business, government and education leaders to adopt a county-wide campaign promoting Coweta as the place to live, work and play in a uniquely attractive community.

The 29th annual Awards of Excellence program has 142 entries this year from chambers of all sizes. A three-judge panel evaluated the entries and awarded winners in four categories: advertising, campaigns, electronics and publications.

“We’re very excited and proud to receive this recognition from ACCE for our ‘Prosperity’s Front Door’ marketing and branding campaign,” said Candace Boothby, president and CEO of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber. “We know that as the front door to prosperity, Coweta County is the ultimate place to grow your business and your family. This award validates our efforts."

“Our community leaders really came together and embraced a county-wide message and campaign that is meeting our expectations," said 2013 chamber Chairman Dean Jackson. We have many people and organizations to thank for their working toward a goal for Coweta.”
