Proctor named executive director at Towne Club

Eltonette Proctor is the new executive director of Towne Club Peachtree City, a senior living community.

Proctor comes to Towne Club with more than 15 years in the senior living industry, having served in executive positions with retirement communities in Texas, Mississippi and Maryland.

For her, senior living is not just a job, “but a ministry."

"I love working with seniors,” said Proctor. “Towne Club is such a beautiful community and Peachtree City itself feels like a friendly small town but with big city amenities. I look forward to making a difference here.” 

Proctor comes from a large musical family and says that music is a one of her passions. She served as international vocalist for Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority for ten years.

Towne Club, located on Crosstown Drive in Peachtree City, is a senior living community offering adults 55 and better the advantages of a fine resort with no large buy-in fee. Residents enjoy spacious apartment residences, an activities calendar, upscale services and amenities and country-club dining. On-site personal care also is available.

Powell joins Josey Young and Brady

Joe Powell, formerly an independent real estate agent in Newnan, has joined Josey, Young and Brady Realty.

Powell, who has had a real estate license for 35 years, specializes in commercial foreclosures.

Powell also recently moved his speciality automobile business, Dream Cars, from Jefferson Street to the alley off Madison Street.
