About the only other major hurdle left to making the old Newnan Hospitall a satellite campus for UWG is an environmental survey, which is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

The dream of a downtown university campus passed some major hurdles Tuesday evening as the Newnan City Council unanimously approved several contracts relating to the $15 million project.
