Ascot Supply on Hillwood Circle is expanding with the construction of new warehouse space.
A groundbreaking for the expansion was recently held.
“We are expanding because we ran out of room,” said Danny Spencer of Ascot.
“Our business has exploded over the past few years,” he added.
The expansion also gives Ascot the “opportunity to diversify our product offering,” Spencer said.
Ascot provides a wide variety of products for the tire industry.
This is the second expansion at the Newnan site. The company moved to Hillwood Circle in 1989, and expanded in 1996.
The Newnan location is the corporate headquarters for a membership buying group comprised of members throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. Its members are suppliers to the automotive industry all over North America.
Ascot Supply began as a regional cooperative in the 1960s and has evolved into an international corporation.
