The following Coweta County residents were arrested by the Peachtree City Police Department:

* Brandon Harvell Melson, 21, of Nature Cove in Newnan, was arrested on July 27 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while suspended, open container and drinking in public.

* James Moss, 21, of Melton Street in Newnan, was arrested on July 30 and charged with violation of probation.

* Taneka L. Taylor, 25, of Morgan Street in Senoia, was arrested on Aug. 4 and charged with theft by shoplifting - second offense.
