TONIGHT'S GAMES
All Games at 7:30 p.m.
Newnan (2-1) at Troup (0-2), Callaway Stadium, LaGrange (98.1 FM)
There weren’t a whole lot of positives coming out of last week’s loss to Sandy Creek. But the Cougars also won’t play a better football team for the rest of the regular season. Tonight’s a night Newnan can get things back on track before taking a welcomed week off. COUGARS 28, TIGERS 12.
North Clayton (0-2) at Northgate (0-2)
Remember last year’s playoff game between these two teams, won easily 42-7 by the Vikings? Good. Now toss it aside, cause tonight’s rematch expects to be anything but one sided. A pair of wing-T teams look to take a step in the right direction at Henry Sewell Field. Expect tonight’s ‘Green Out’ to come down to special teams. Paging Northgate kicker Zack Braun. VIKINGS 17, EAGLES 14.
Dominion Christian (1-2) at Trinity Christian (1-1)
Scoring thirty-one points in a six-minute span did little to please Lions head coach Chris Hanson last week. Trinity arguably played its best game so far in a 14-6 loss to unbeaten John Milledge in its Aug. 31 opener. Still, expect the Lions to get back to that form tonight in what should be a dominating effort. LIONS 35, KNIGHTS 6.
• Both The Heritage School and Heritage Christian are off tonight
