Prep Softball: Northgate nips Starr's Mill, 3-2

The Northgate Lady Vikings softball team improved their overall record to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in Region 4-AAAAA with a 3-2 victory over Starr’s Mill.
Starting pitcher Carleigh Myatt allowed 10 hits, but gave up just one earned run en route to the win. The Lady Vikings senior struckout three.
Northgate broke a 2-all tie in the sixth inning to post the victory.
Andie Martin led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance and two RBIs.
