Cam Bedrosian returned to Double A, Smith has rough outing on 25th birthday

It was not the best of Thursday's for Coweta County's two major-leaguer pitchers.

Recalled this week by the Los Angeles Angels from Double A-Arkansas, Cam Bedrosian was returned to the minors after making two relief appearances. It was his second trip to the major leagues this season.

Meanwhile, Brewers left-hander Will Smith experienced his roughest outing on the year on Thursday in a 9-1 loss to Philadelphia at home on his 25th birthday.

The Newnan native, who had pitched well enough during the first three months of the season to warrant a potential All-Star nod, entered a 1-0 lead in the top of the eighth before being charged for five runs on three hits and two walks while watching his ERA balloon from 2.16 to 3.24.
