Prior to Friday’s Region 3-AAAAAA baseball game with Douglas County, East Coweta honored former standout and major leaguer Brad Emaus, retiring his No. 27 jersey during a presentation.

Emaus, who set 18 school records before helping Tulane reach the College World Series, is seen above with Indians head coach Franklin DeLoach (center) and assistant Mark Bowles.

The program also unveiled an outfield wall decoration with Emaus’ name in number, seen at left. Friday’s celebration also included East Coweta’s inaugural Alumni Game following a win over the Tigers.
