Heritage rolls to win

The Heritage School Lady Hawks kept their GISA Region 1-AAA record perfect Friday night with 52-22 victory over Atlanta Girls School and also won for the 20th time overall (20-3 and 9-0).

Heritage led 23-11 after two periods and then outscored their guest 17-4 in the third period to put the contest away.

Kara Groover was the leading scorer for Heritage, finishing with 13 points.

Kate Everett added 8 points.

Lillie Smith added six points and also had a 3-pointer en route to the win.

Heritage finished with 30 rebounds en route to the win.

The Lady Hawks only turned the ball over 10 times and forced 16 steals.
