United Sprint Car Series to makes visit
The return of the United Sprint Car Series Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars is set for this weekend with the Senoia Summer Nationals IV. The seven hundred horsepower, alcohol burning winged warriors will make their only appearance at Senoia Raceway on Friday and Saturday.
The sprint cars will be joined both nights by the 600cc mini sprints, Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models, Newnan Bonding B Cadets, Mini Stocks and Bombers. The Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stock and Modified Mini classes will join the action on Saturday only. All races will award season points.
Last week's racing included victories by Tod Darda in the Late Models, Dow Kirkland in the B Cadets, Gary Brand in the Hobby Stocks, Gary Parker in the Mini Stocks and Newnan drivers Trey Wood and Dorough Bright, respectively, in the Bombers and Modified Mini classes.
Grandstand ticket prices for Friday are $15 and $20 on Saturday. Children 6-12 are $5 on both nights. Ages five and under are admitted free. Children may also gain free admission by participating in the Race Against Drugs poster contest.
