Heritage School's Powell 3rd in high points at state

ALBANY — Heritage School’s Ruthie Powell turned in a solid performance at the GISA Track and Field Meet at the Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany.

Powell, won the 800, 1600 and 3200 for the Lady Hawks and also finished third in the high-point standings.

Chase Parker was fourth in the high-point competition after finishing second in both the 100 and 300 hurdles.

Heritage School sprinter Alexis Pappas was second in the 100 and third in the 200.

The Lady Hawks’ 1600 relay team of Powell, Parker, Pappas and Maggie Crosby was third.
