Trinity Christian seniors Drew Gibson, Edwin Rivera and Jay Warner joined Northgate senior running back Michael Willis as teammates in Saturday’s National Underclassmen All-American Game in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Gibson scored on a 7-yard touchdown while contributing as a fullback. Rivera made several tackles at linebacker. Both players helped lead Trinity Christian's defense during the 2012 season.
Willis was among just three running backs to play for the South All-Stars in the event, which featured top players from around the nation.
A week-long event included 7-on-7 and 1-on-1 challenge drills as well as a Skills Challenge.
It culminated with Saturday night’s North-South Game at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
