Trinity Christian’s middle school football team remained undefeated following a 26-0 road win against Community Christian School in Stockbridge.
Despite a sluggish start on offense, the Lions outscored CCS 18-0 in the second half to pull away.
Quarterback Jake Estes and running back Jordan Flagg helped lead the way behind a dominant offensive line. The Lions were inside the 10 yard line late in the fourth quarter as time expired.
Trinity has now outscored its first three opponents by an 80-8 margin.
Trinity’s defense made some critical adjustments in the second quarter and several critical stops helped stall the Knights offense. Ben Kritko and Noah Barrow continue to lead a Lions defense that is opportunity and turnover focused. Safety Jordan Flagg intercepted a Knights pass in the third quarter and returned it 58 yards for a touchdown. The Lions defense has only allowed one touchdown in its first three contests and continues to capitalize on big plays.
Trinity Christian MS and ‘C-Teams’ (5th & 6th grade) host Creekside Christian Academy this week.
