The Northgate Lady Vikings celebrated Senior Night with a huge 15-0, three-inning victory over Forest Park.
Northgate, which won the Class AAAA state title last year, moved into the top spot in the Class AAAAA rankings when the new poll was released this weekend.
It was the 20th win of the year as the Lady Vikings improved to 20-5 overall and 9-1 in Region 4-AAAAA.
The Lady Vikings out-hit Forest Park 14-0 as senior Carleigh Myatt struckout five batters en route to the no-hitter.
Casey Kent led the offensive fireworks for the Lady Vikings, three RBI. Lead-off hitter Brenna Skalski and Stephanie Brown each had two RBIs.
Northgate scored six runs in the first inning and four in the second frame to jump out to a 10-0 lead. The Lady Vikings ended the game by  the mercy rule with five more runs. The Lady Vikings also took advantage of four Forest Park errors.

Northgate plays host to Newnan in its last game of the regular season. Newnan enters the game with a 15-10 regular season record and a 4-1 mark in league play.

Newnan plays in the Region 3-AAAAAA Tournament starting next Tuesday at East Coweta.
