Prep Volleyball: Northgate splits matches

The Northgate volleyball team split a pair of matches on Tuesday, beating Mundy’s Mill (25-19, 25-12) and losing to McIntosh (25-10, 25-20) in a Area 4-AAAAA match at Munday’s Mill.
With the spit, the Lady Vikings improved to 14-4 overall and 4-1 in area play.
Randee Harvel led the way with 11 kills and 13 digs. Brittany Scarbrough had 21 assists and Elle McCord 12 digs. Mackenzie Crenshaw had six aces.
Northgate gets back in action Thursday in the annual Coweta County Tournament. The Lady Vikings are the seven-time defending county champs.
