The Coweta Board of Environmental Health inspects all Coweta restaurants, schools and businesses that serve food several times each year.

• America’s Best Value Inn, 1344 Highway 29, was inspected Jan. 10. Current score 100-A. Previous score 88-B (date N/A). Inspector’s comments: none.

• El Charro Mexican Restaurant, 77 Bullsboro Dr., Newnan, was inspected Jan. 4. Current score 95-A. Previous scores 99-A on June 8, 2012; 100-A on Oct. 20, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Ice shield on ice machine has a little pink mold/ mildew on it. Pans wet stacked.

• Howard Johnson, 1310 Highway 29 South, was inspected Jan. 10. Current score 99-A. Previous scores 99-A on June 8, 2012; and 98-A on July 20, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Some crumbs inside drawers and cabinets.

• O’Charley’s, 545 Bullsboro Dr., Newnan, was inspected Jan. 8. Current score 96-A. Previous scores: 90-A on June 12, 2012; and 96-A on Oct. 13, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Eggs stored above packaged sauces. Corrected. Pans wet stacked.

• Rock Back Pizza, 311 Newnan Crossing Bypass, was inspected Jan. 8. Current score 96-A. Previous scores 95-A on June 5, 2012; and 95-A on Sept. 26, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Buildup on slicer, little buildup on deflector shield on ice machine.

• Sprayberry’s Bar-B-Q, 229 Jackson St., Newnan, was inspected Jan. 10. Current score 99-A. Previous scores: 98-A on June 4, 2012; and 98-A on Oct. 14, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Floor and ceiling in walk-in freezer in disrepair, some floor tiles broken, coving down.

• Starbuck’s, 733 Bullsboro Dr., Newnan, was inspected Jan. 4. Current score 100-A. Previous scores 99-A on June 5, 2012; 99-A on Sept. 27, 2011. Inspector’s comments: Looks great!
