July 31 deadline for reduced cost on FBC men's conference

Jeff W. Crook will be returning to First Baptist Church of Newnan this August to deliver the next in his Men's Conference series, "Staying Strong -- The Adventures of Samson."

Registration for the conference is available -- at a reduced cost -- through July 31. In life, most men desire success and never make plans to fail. However, for every successful man, there is a man who has been a casualty of life's pitfalls. This study will help show men how to stay strong through a focus on the life of Samson.

Crook came to FBC Newnan last year to lead the "Staying Clean in a Dirty World." The upcoming conference will be on Aug. 22-23.

Crook is pastor of Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Flowery Branch. Joining him in August will be Jeff Neal of Team Impact.

Neal was once named the NFL's strongest man. He will share some powerful examples of strength as well as a powerful testimony of his love of Jesus Christ.

All men -- and young men, ages 12 and up -- in the community are invited to participate. Registration fees cover the materials, a dinner catered by Long Horn, breakfast and snacks at breaks.

Registration will start Aug. 22 at 5 p.m. followed dinner, a welcome and two sessions. The next day, the program starts with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Neal will speak at 8:30, and the program will conclude at 11:30 a.m.

Adult Early Bird registration -- paid by July 31 -- is $30. Adults after July 31 will pay $35. At the door, adult registration will be $40.

Student registration will be $20. Scholarships are also available.

For registration or information call the church at 770-253-0707 or visit www.fbcnewnan.org/men .
