Several churches have announced plans for Bible School in the past few days. Line Creek Baptist Church will hold VBS – using “Colossal Coaster World” – from June 16-21.

Linda Chitwood said Line Creek’s Bible School will be held from 6-9 p.m. The program is for age 4 through sixth grade.

The theme at Four Corners will be “The King is Coming!” For more information, visit www.fourcornersnewnan.org.

A summer children’s event called Kingdom Rock will be held at Sharpsburg Baptist Church from June 17-21.

At Kingdom Rock, youngster will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience epic Bible adventures and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them to stand strong.

Sharpsburg VBS participants will also test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they will take home and play with all summer long. Attendees also will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.

Each day will conclude with Fanfare Finale — a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they have learned.

Kingdom Rock is for ages pre-K to sixth grade. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and VBS will be held from 6:30-9:10 p.m. To pre-register, visit www.sharpsburgbaptist.com.
