Franz to lead revival at Line Creek

Evangelist Steve Franz will be leading revival services at Line Creek Baptist Church starting Sunday.

Sunday’s service will start at 6 p.m. Services will continue Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Franz holds a bachelor of arts in pastoral ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a master of divinity from the same institution. He heads Steve Franz Ministries and is minister of evangelism and outreach at Macedonia Baptist Church near Newnan.

“I was saved at age 19 after a difficult childhood in a broken home. Soon after my conversion the Lord gave me a concern for the lost and I began to engage in various forms of personal evangelism,” Franz said.

The call to preach opened doors for youth ministry, prison chaplaincy and nursing home ministries, which where followed by several pastorates. “Between 2003-2010 I served as church planter through the Georgia Baptist Convention and started two multi-ethnic churches,” Franz said.

He leads revivals, youth rallies, children’s events and prison ministry events. 

“My passion for biblical integrity, concern for the lost and a spiritual awakening of the church continues to fuel my desire for revival in America,” he stated.

Franz and his wife, Heidi, have been married for 30 years. Their son, Samuel graduated from Shorter University in Rome with a business administration degree.
