Watson new associate pastor at Woolsey Baptist

Corey Watson of Columbia, S.C., has accepted the call to be associate pastor of students and local missions at Woolsey Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
He will also work with the College and Career Class there. Watson, whose home church is First Baptist Church of Columbia, graduated in December 2012 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master of divinity degree in Christian ministry.
He also holds a bachelor of arts in history degree from the University of South Carolina.
Watson has experience with youth as a summer intern in South Carolina and through a pastoral internship in North Carolina. He has worked in sports ministry in Beijing, China and with Hands-On Missions with the International Mission Board in Guilin, China.
Watson has been a pulpit supply/youth speaker in churches in both North Carolina and South Carolina. In addition, he was a leader and mentor for Discipleship Now weekends in several places in North Carolina.
