Allen-Lee United Methodist Church in Lone Oak will be observing World Communion Sunday on Oct. 7.
The service – an annual one at the church – will start at 11 a.m. Melanie Stanley-Soulen, pastor of the church, will be bringing the message.
Ruth Cuellar, pastor of El Buen Pastor, will share about her work as minister to a Spanish-speaking congregation with members from many different countries. El Buen Pastor is affiliated with Central Baptist Church in Newnan.
Cuellar and Stanley-Soulen will work together to hold a communion service in both Spanish and English.
Allen-Lee has had a busy summer – with a sermon series on children’s games, the first Vacation Bible School in several years and homecoming.
