Newsome joins staff at First Methodist

Jessica Newsome has joined the staff of First United Methodist Church of Newnan as children’s minister.
She assumed her duties in July.
Newsome is a graduate of LaGrange College, and she holds a master of divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
Newsome has served United Methodist churches as a student local pastor and as a minister of youth.
She came to the downtown Newnan congregation from West Point United Methodist Church, where she was an assistant minister responsible for youth and children.
She is married to Jason Newsome and they have two daughters – Savannah Grace, 5, and Ella Faith, 3.
