We Need Spiritual Awakening

As we all know, the election is over and perhaps your choice may have won or lost. This one thing we all must understand — leadership is a major factor in everything at all levels of our society. If there is success, someone can be credited. If there is failure, you can be sure there is a culprit.
You cannot expect any organization — including a nation — to rise above its leadership. But let there be no misunderstanding about responsibility. We also have to be good citizens. For us to refuse to use our influence in our own day in the world where we live is to be guilty of spiritual and moral irresponsibility.
We keep hearing well meaning but very unwise folks saying things like, “It doesn’t matter whether or not I vote. We will get whomsoever the Lord wants us to have.” I hope that when you are in the voting booth that you are voting for leadership, not for the color of a person’s skin.
If you don’t think it matters who wins, try telling that to the people in China, Russia or Cuba. Try telling the Christians in Iran, Saudi Arabia and Egypt that the person you place in office doesn’t matter.
America needs a spiritual awakening all across our nation that will turn people back to moral responsibility.
If we aren’t wise in choosing our leaders, we could lose our freedom and become a nation led by a dictator.
