If a Tornado Warning was issued for Coweta, have you developed a storm plan and 'safe place' in your house in case it strikes?

Michael Bass's letter stated Cancer Treatment Center of America caters to "insured or otherwise affluent persons." According to research I reviewed provided by our state Senate majority leader, CTCA's indigent care percentage has exceeded the CON mandated percentage each of the last three-year reporting cycles.
However, Piedmont indigent percentage during the last three years shows Piedmont's indigent care averaged 2 percent in the last three years. Piedmont tries to imply that being "not for profit" compared to CTCA which is "for profit," meaning Piedmont is somehow more caring a hospital. However, "not for profit" does not mean that Piedmont does not make a profit. It simply meant that they do not have to pay any taxes on that profit. I will assure you that Piedmont makes plenty of profit. If not, they wouldn't be in our community building another hospital.
According to CTCA, they will generate significant operating revenue (65 percent must come from out-of-state) and will create about 400 high-paying positions. The out-of-state requirement would deliver a much needed shot in the arm to our restaurant, retail and hospitality businesses. CTCA's business will generate over $20 million in annual tax revenues, compared to zero from PNH.
Piedmont is asking citizens to oppose CTCA and be "appalled" by the granting of government and development authority inducements. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not remember Piedmont's promise to build a hospital being conditional on a lifetime monopoly.
CTCA is coming to Georgia and must locate within a 30-mile radius of Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. I would much rather see highly educated, well-compensated and highly skilled employees buy homes, pay taxes and spend wages in Coweta, rather than in a neighboring community. I would hope our governmental agencies review all facts and find it is in our community's best interest to grant inducements to CTCA.
