Sound Off for Wednesday

Two Heroes: Kahlil Smith seems to have gotten his life back on track; I wish him great success. Marjorie Morrow has gone WAY beyond rewarding him for returning her ring - she is his true hero and has my admiration for recognizing and rewarding Kahlil's potential and ensuring his success. Kudos to both.

What is texting?: If you are stopped at a traffic light, the cars right and left of you are too. If their drivers are texting, they don't text 'while driving.' Did you watch them after they took off or did you look straight because you are a responsible driver?

Thanks Rev. : Feel so much better knowing Rev Jessie Jackson will be investigating Paula Deen. Wonder if his No. 1 disgraced son will assist?

Who's guilty?: Paula Deen is no more guilty than all of us black and white peopl esaying something in our past that we are not proud of and being investigated by Jessie Jackson takes the cake. "Let any of us who is without sin cast the first stone."

Fox News: Yes Liberals are there, you would know that if you watched. Juan Williams, and Bob Beckel are the first that come to mind.

Who's a racist?: Yes, Republicans do know other people have opinions, and let them share them. It's the Democrats who holler "Racist" if someone voices another opinion not shared by them.

Let it go: Paula Dean grew up in the South when the N word was used routinely by 99.9% of whites. Blacks call each other by the N word routinely today. She apologized. Let's move on.

Dead horse:  Anyone else tired of hearing about Zimmerman?

The "N" word: If what Paula Deen said was so terribly inappropriate, why did it take over five years to surface? Maybe she didn't have the millions back then. This media holiday is not about the "N" word, it is about the $M$ word!

Dear Mr. Letter Carrier: Please come to a full stop when bringing our mail. Your constant removal of the mailbox door has lost its comedic value.

Thanks CCSO: I just have to say a big cheers to Coweta investigators Fetner and MacDonald for the great job they did breaking the huge credit card theft ring. This world is a much safer place when you have people that actually not only do their job, but go the extra mile.
