Good job, Camp Southern Ground

Kudos to Camp Southern Ground and the Senoia Downtown Development Authority for hosting an outstanding event last Saturday. Over the course of the day, officials estimated that between 8,000 and 10,000 people attended the open-air, day-long concert and festival benefitting Camp Southern Ground, a camp for children with diverse needs.

Vender booths, food trucks, restaurants, shops, children’s activities and outstanding music combined to make an absolutely magical day. Just when it seemed that the day was complete, Zac Brown stepped on stage for a surprise performance. The crowd went wild.

All in all, it was a day of delicious food, wonderful “people energy,” super music and, most of all, charitable dollars for a worthy cause. It doesn’t get any better than that.
