SEC channel coming: The SEC Network launches on August 14, and NuLink plans to add this network to its existing channel lineup at that time. We are currently in the process of finalizing details with ESPN and we're very excited to add this channel.
Give your name: Only a coward would hide behind the anonymous nature of Sound Off and accuse someone of supporting a federal crime without proof. Come out to where you can be taken to task in a court of law for your libelous statement.
Only in Georgia: Man robs Waffle House with pitchfork. Will Bill Murray be a suspect?
Go Grantville: Grantville City Council got it right! The mayor and all four council members came together last week to make a hard but unanimous decision to replace the city manager. No arguing, complaint or condemnation from any member. Just an announcement they need someone else to make their new vision happen. Professionally done.
Why?: Why did the two ladies at the school board forum keep talking about the Core Curriculum? The school board does not make that decision.
Keep the meat: If we all became vegetarian/vegan, what happens to all the employees of the meat industry, and all the cows, pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, etc? Feel free to eat my portion of bird seed. I'll have ham and eggs, please.
Obama knows: Obama knows as much about "global warming" as he does about "authentic citizenship."
Play fair: I know that NTH supports a certain political thinking, but printing the most vile and discriminatory opinions from that side and omitting thoughts from the opposition is more than despicable. Do you call that freedom?
Juvenile wordplay: Yes, suggesting we ban dihydrogen monoxide is juvenile. So is ginning up a political issue over the fact some people make more money than others.
Start with school board: Based on the ringing endorsement of Michelle Nunn-Martin published in a Letter to the Editor, I think she would make a charming candidate for her local school board. That would allow her to mature in the field of politics. She might even show up for the meetings.
