An incredible performance

I would like to comment on something very positive for a change. We read so much gloom and doom that I wanted to share with your readers a magical experience I had recently.

Last weekend my grandson asked me to take him to a concert given by the Coweta County Honor Band at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts. I was not prepared for what an astounding concert it was. The music teachers of this county have a lot to be proud of. They took a group of young students, grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, and had them make musical magic.

The students were simply amazing. Their dedication to music can only result in exceptional musicians as well as productive members of our society. Kudos to the teachers, music directors, clinicians, and students of Coweta County. You make us proud.
