No self-checkout: I refuse to use self-checkout, and if I went to check out and that's all that was available, I'd walk right out the front door. Every time you use self-checkout, that's a cashier out of work.
Minimum wage: If you got minimum skills, minimum education, show minimum motivation, and provide minimum contribution to the workplace, why should someone be forced to pay you more?
Seriously? Are you kidding me? A feature article in the business section on Kelly Rogers? What a waste.
Re: No on hospital: "There are enough hospitals in the area," "Atlanta has adequate facilities." Sir or madam, you are insane. That's why we need this hospital in Newnan.
Bailout? All my Republican friends that own businesses did not get a red cent from the government.
Enough already: The Falcons want a new stadium and get it because their 20-year-old stadium isn’t good enough. Now, the Braves want a new stadium. Even in our own county schools, we can’t let their poor boys play on real grass. Oh no, they want fake turf. Same with our health care. Billions of dollars wasted to help a select few. The choices we allow our government to take are leading us down the wrong path and nobody seems to care until it will be too late.
Coleman brothers: After reading about the Coleman brothers, Kyle and David, my faith is restored in the ability of parents to raise generous, selfless children who do not feel that they are entitled to everything they want just because they want it. How refreshing! Way to go, boys.
Report the truth: I'm asking the media to do their job. Stop trying to make this president and his acts look good. Stop treating us like we're stupid. We know what's really going on and deserve better from the press when it comes to reporting the facts and truth without bias.
Kudos: Thank you, NTH, for a positive article about businessman Kelly Rogers. You are going to catch flak (again!) for giving Starship "free advertising," but it's time to recognize that this is a business venture, a legal establishment, and if you don't want to shop there, don't go. Leave the rest of us to our own choices. It's time I give that establishment my business.
Re: "Oh, Please": The W. VA. chemical spill was no accident. It was a rupture that could have been prevented by proper inspection and maintenance. Regulations only covered processing, not storage. There was absolutely no reason for this facility to be located next to a river. I believe your attitude would be different if the chemical had spilled into Coweta County's water supply.
