Sound Off

No lies: Still no example of a lie by Fox News. They can't give one, because they are all by the liberals. I don't want fair and balanced. I just want the truth. Not much truth on CNN, CBS, NBC. And none at all on MSNBC.

Wake up: Still annoyed at “wake up” Sound Offs? See what happened while you were sleeping. March 16, 2012, Executive Order titled, “National Defense Resource Preparedness.” Another gotcha.

Send a letter: To the liberal that said there is not enough space on Sound Off to print all the Fox News lies. Then send a Letter to the Editor listing all the lies. Fact is, you can't. The liberal media is going down the tubes because of lies. Fox is going up because of stating the facts.

Thanks: A special thank you to the very nice people who stopped to see if I was okay after I fell at Ashley Park on Saturday. Extra special thanks to the gentleman who saw me fall and then drove over to help me pick up the contents of my spilled purse.

What about our troops? With all due respect for President Mandela, the flag flying over the White House should remain at half-mast continuously for all the men and women of our military who are dying every day in Afghanistan and other God-forsaken places around the world.

Re: Richard Morris' Letter: A 25% increase in labor cost would not mean a 25% increase in the cost of the product or service. If a worker making $10 an hour producing $100 in goods or services per hour for his employer gets a 25% raise, the cost of the goods or services would only need to be increased 2.5% to cover it. [Dennis Thompson]

P.C. Christmas: Please accept my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious or secular practices or traditions of others or their lack thereof.

We need it: Why is Piedmont so concerned about the old Coweta General General Hospital becoming a behavioral facility? Piedmont does not offer this service, period. Tanner needs to get some competition.

Total lie: I am fed up with all the lies and coverups coming out of Washington, and no one is held accountable for anything. We have a president who didn't know — read about it in the paper — had no idea. Telling the people "they can keep their health plan and doctor" was a bold-faced lie.

Car garden: Columnist Stanley Tate does it again — a brilliant column on parking lots as bird habitat. Who would’ve thought it? No longer will I look at parking lots as eyesores — though I do wish Newnan/Coweta County required impervious lots like the one in Senoia. It’s like a garden for your car.

More Fox: You can tell a Fox News listener, but you can't tell them much.
