Help and hope
It's difficult to understand what has happened in America. We have certainly lost our way, for many reasons
It appears, we as Americans refuse to give help and hope for those who need it. What a shameful way to act when many of us call ourselves patriots.
Giving help and hope has nothing to do with a particular person being king of the castle for four years. And it does not have anything to do with the name of our president or a political stance.
It has everything to do with each of us living up to our personal responsibility as Americans — reaching out to make a difference. It's not about our ability to give financially; we can make a difference by encouraging, talking, and making a call on someone's behalf. We can offer advice to someone in a similar situation.
“Land of the free and home of the brave,” but are you willing to be brave when helping is messy and hard? Will you give freely and get nothing in return?
It is past time to ask our government to meet all the needs of its citizens. There are needs it can’t cover.
Every man, woman and child in need are of great value to our nation. Give freely, be brave and help, personally invest in our great nation. We can change America in ways we never thought possible.
