Thanks for the laughs
I enjoyed Roger Jones’ tongue in cheek letter to the editor. If his facts were true, indeed we would be in a mess. Fortunately we can laugh at his hyperbole while gaining insight into why there is a government shutdown and gridlock. He aptly caricatures the extremist personality who admires the renegades who have taken over Congress.
If any adult person could live in this country, with the abundance of media and information available to us, and truly form the opinion that Mr. Jones portrayed, we should all build shelters to protect us from the zombie apocalypse which is about as close to reality as the scenario penned by Mr. Jones.
I hope he enjoyed writing his fictional tale. I pray fervently that it was his idea of comic relief, and not the world in which he believes he lives. If he can hate and fear so many people he does not know, he would have no problems shoving all of us into a furnace - with no regrets. We have seen how that plays out.
Mr. Jones’ prayers are not those of a child of a loving God, and he is about to be hit by that pendulum he mentioned and probably the zombie apocalypse.
