The Republican agenda is to blame
A recent Sound Off contributor stated that the Republican Party has a $12 million surplus while the Democratic Party has an $18 million deficit. Could this be because the Republican Party is the party of the super rich while the Democratic Party is the party of the working class?
The Radical Right Wing has done an excellent job in diverting the attention of the American people to the left instead of the right in placing blame for America's problems. They are succeeding in making people believe our problems should be blamed on some little unmarried teenage girl with a couple of kids and other poor people who draw welfare and food stamps. But who has gotten richer over the past few years while the middle class is shrinking and everyone else has gotten poorer? Who is benefitting from and is responsible for outsourcing America's jobs to Third World countries by exploiting workers there (base pay in Bangladesh is less than $40 per month)? It's that little teenage girl - yeah right!
The super rich agenda is to get rid of the inheritance tax so they can bequeath their wealth to untold generations, creating a moneyed aristocracy. After you've bought all the mansions, airplanes, yachts and other trappings that money can buy, what you have left is unchecked power. If a 30-year-old person who inherits $33 billion takes out only $3 billion to live on (poor thing) and invests the rest at only 5%, it will double every 15 years, and if he lives to be 90 years old he will have a net worth of $480 billion to be bequeathed to his heirs--All without turning a finger except to call his broker.
Start looking right to see who benefits most and who loses most from the Republican agenda.
