Share the road: When you're behind someone waiting to pull out into traffic, please have some patience and not blow your horn when you think they should have pulled out. It can cause someone to instinctively react and kill someone. Remember, it's everyone sharing the road. Not just you.

Crusty politics: Republicans have tried unsuccessfully to repeal Obamacare over 35 times, trying to shut down women's health care centers and making it more difficult to vote. Yet they say they are for jobs and less government, then blame the president for all of their failings. Payday is coming in 2014. Let's not forget them then.

Racial divide: Ignorance is at the root of bigotry and prejudice. Many ignore the fact that, except for Native Americans, we're all immigrants. The tint of your skin is none of your doing. The problems we wrestle with can all be solved with more cooperation and less finger-pointing. The only difference between the caveman and modern man is electricity.

Give him the chair: That fat guy that raped that 3-year-old needs to be made an example of. Send him to the electric chair.

Where's the media? Why wasn't the media all over the hate crime the other week when the baby in the stroller was shot in the face and killed and his mother was shot, too? Is this not a hate crime, and why does the media not play on it like the Zimmerman case?

What is wrong with this picture? Why are churches sending their people to serve as missionaries in foreign countries when we have children starving for not only food but spiritual growth within our own county? Let's use our resources to care for our own. Who are we serving?

Go with roundabouts: A recent article claimed citizens attending the transportation open house spoke against roundabouts. How ignorant. Roundabouts are cheaper, safer and more efficient than stop lights or stop signs. A lot of people were against the East Broad roundabout, but it is a huge success.

Tip your server: Just wanted to inform everyone who dines in a restaurant that servers are more than happy to serve you, as it is our job, but there is no reason for you to run us to death and then not tip. For your information, servers make $2.13 an hour. Keep that in mind when you don't tip your server.

Be quiet: The B29 juror should have kept her mouth shut.

You missed it: The person who complained that Republicans do nothing is missing the point. That is what we need: Less government interference in our lives, less regulations, and especially, less taxation.

United? When you compare the economic, political, and religious philosophies of the people living in Michigan, California, and Georgia, you realize that these United States are not united at all, and haven't been for a long time.

Seriously? Blacks don't feel safe around Hispanics because of the verdict of the Zimmerman trial? How do they feel about 80-90% of black on black crime? People of color kill themselves a lot more than the Hispanics do.
