Photo exhibit at newspaper features all the entries in magazine's 2013 contest

We at The Newnan Times-Herald and Newnan-Coweta Magazine periodically sponsor reader-participation projects to involve our loyal readers and showcase their talents.
One of our more popular reader participation projects through the years has been photo contests. We ask readers to take photos and submit them for judging. We have some excellent photographers in our community who are eager to share their photos with other readers.
For years, the newspaper has held an annual Christmas Photo Contest, and in recent years our Newnan-Coweta Magazine has had an annual photo contest. In each contest we publish the winning photos along with some of the honorable mention entries.
We do not always have space to publish all the entries in the newspaper or magazine. From time to time we are asked how all the entries can be viewed.
In the March-April issue of Newnan-Coweta Magazine, we published winners and honorable mention photos in the magazine’s 2013 Photo Contest. There were many other beautiful entries, and our magazine editor, Angela McRae, and magazine art director, Deberah Williams, decided to display the photo entries in an exhibit located in the front lobby area of the Newnan Times-Herald offices at 16 Jefferson St. in downtown Newnan.
Almost 100 entries are on display weekdays through March 15. The newspaper offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. We invite everyone interested in viewing this photo exhibit to visit the newspaper between now and March 15.

The photos are beautiful. Come see for yourself.
