Can't get a simple answer

Recently I sent an email to Congressman Lynn Westmoreland and Sen. Saxby Chambliss asking for a simple answer.
My email was over concerns about the severe cuts in the Defense Authorization Bill and how it will impact local communities that surround military bases in Georgia. These towns get a lot of tax money and these bases provide thousands of jobs for Georgians. Cuts will hurt many towns.
They include cities like Marietta, Valdosta, Macon/Warner Robins, Columbus, Kingsland, Hinesville, Savannah, Augusta, and not to mention numerous smaller towns that surround these bases.
My question was simple: Have you been communicating with local community leaders in towns that surround military bases in Georgia that will be affected by the severe cuts in the Defense Authorization Bill?
I got a form letter from Westmoreland that outlined the Paul Ryan budget plan and never addressed the impact to local communities that included Columbus/Fort Benning in Westmoreland’s Third District.
However, Chambliss, being the elder statesman, sent me a reply addressing the devastating local and national economic impacts on the nation’s military. He also addressed the extensive military presence in Georgia and the profound impact on Georgia’s economy and the fact of communicating with local leaders.

I have received 65 form letters from Westmoreland, who has never addressed any question that I have asked the congressman.

Simple answer to simple question. How difficult can it be?
