What are major issues facing our community?
In our Wednesday edition we published an editorial commenting on the great strides our community has made in addressing two of the top issues facing us a decade or more ago -- improved health care facilities and additional college level programs here at home.With two new hospitals, a health department and new clinics, our health care facilities are first-class. Also, we are in the midst of major expansion in university and technical college campuses and programs to allow Coweta County residents to get a college degree here at home.
Our community came together on both of these issues and filled great needs. Our quality of life is better because of these improvements.
Today, we ask our readers: What are the most pressing issues -- both short-term, and long-term -- that our community needs to address?
This is a great place to live. We have many assets here. There are many positives that make this community a desirable place to live and work. But as our community keeps growing -- and it will keep growing -- what are the issues that we need to address to continue to improve the quality of life here?
