Congratulations to attorney

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I congratulate John Herbert “Herb” Cranford Jr. of Newnan on being sworn in as one of the bar’s newest members and thus continuing a family legacy in the legal profession and in public service.
Now working as an assistant district attorney for the Coweta Judicial Circuit, Mr. Cranford is a third-generation Newnan lawyer, following in the footsteps of his father, Coweta County State Court Chief Judge John Herbert Cranford Sr., and his grandfather, Clifford A. Cranford, who served 32 years as solicitor general for Coweta County.
As Cranford Jr. embarks on his legal career, all Georgia lawyers can be proud of his continued commitment to public service, which in turn serves to promote the cause of justice, uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of all citizens.
Robin Frazer Clark, President, State Bar of Georgia
