Thanks to Dick Stender

Dick Stender Monday announced his retirement from organizing and leading the annual Veterans Day event in Veterans Plaza in the city park.
Dick has been doing this job for our community for more than 20 years, and he has done an absolutely outstanding job all these years.
We are so very fortunate to have a man of Dick Stender’s talent who has been willing to make the annual Veterans Day ceremony so relevant and informative for our community.
I would like to send a great big thank-you to Dick Stender for his service to our country, to our community and to his fellow citizens of Coweta County.
If you see Dick around the county, please thank him for his dedicated service to remembering our veterans.
With admiration and respect.

Don Chapman, Newnan
