Bring drops to the pond

Recently, when delivering food, I felt overwhelmed by the almost empty food pantry shelves. We live in a time of great need, where so many are desperate for help. I felt “what good is my little drop of water in an empty pond; but if many would bring “their little drops” and add to the pond, it would soon be filled to overflowing.
If we could budget just $10 a week, or a percentage of our weekly grocery purchase, we could keep the pond filled. It is good that we have the once-a- year food drive, but we need to have a regular habit of giving to this worthy cause.
The people of Newnan and Coweta have a great heart and are a kind, caring, compassionate people. This is what makes Newnan and Coweta so great.
I just simply ask the many to bring their “drops” on a regular basis to the pond.
