Another view on voter fraud

A recent letter writer tried to make a case of Republicans trying to disenfranchise voters by requiring ID and stated there is hardly any proof of voter fraud.
Every state has tried to remove ineligible and dead people off the rolls. The Obama Justice Department and the Democrats are fighting it, claiming racism. Just recently in Harris County, Texas, a group called Houston Votes turned in 25,000 registrations. Of them only 1,793 were legit. The investigation also found some of the same people that were involved with ACORN that was involved in voter fraud nationwide are members of this Houston Votes.
The list is endless in almost every state.
The group that is being disenfranchised by the Obama Administration is the military vote. It is well-known the military votes conservative.
A recent Department of Defense report concluded the Pentagon has not been taking actions required to implement the 2009 Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act. Investigators found they could only contact about 50 percent of the required voting-assistance offices at each military installation. In 2010 two Department of Justice whistleblowers within the voting-rights section accused the Obama Administration of stalling in-state enforcement of the MOVE Act, potentially resulting in thousands of ballots reaching service members too late for their votes to be counted.
If you need a ID to get on a plane, cash a check, buy alcohol, rent a car, get a marriage license or two IDs to get into the Democratic National Convention -- asking for a ID to vote should be a no-brainer. Democrats believe they will benefit from voter fraud and that is why they oppose it.
