What does Easter mean to you?

Today is Easter, and Christians here in Coweta County and around the world are celebrating a risen Christ.
What does Easter mean to you? Newnan resident June Anne Johnson sent us these words, titled: “What Easter means to me.”
“Easter is the time that Jesus died on the cross to save us.
“Easter is a time that he gave His all to all mankind.

“Easter is a time we should be thankful to have a Savior.

“Easter is a time when He laid in the grave three days before He rose.

“Easter is a time Jesus rose form the dead on the third day.

“Easter is a time for children to have fun and learn about Jesus.

“Easter is a special time of the year we should all be thankful to have Jesus as our Lord.

“Easter is a time that you should go to the highest mountain and ask Jesus for forgiveness.

“Easter is a time to be a happy person no matter what comes your way.

“Easter is a time that you should have someone special in your life. His name is Jesus.

“If you ask me why? It is because He has done so much for me.”
