Mrs. Anna N. Rodgers
Mrs. Anna N. Rodgers, 95, of Newnan, GA, formerly of Portsmouth, VA, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 from a long battle with Alzheimer's.  She was a resident of Avalon Health & Rehabilitation at the time of her death. Prior to moving to Avalon, Mrs. Rodgers was a member of the founders club at Benton House Senior Assisted Living in Newnan where she resided for nearly three years.
Mrs. Rodgers was born in Portsmouth, VA, on June 6, 1917, to the late John Oliver Pearson & Mary Nash Tatem Pearson. She was the youngest of five children.
Mrs. Rodgers is survived by her three children, sons, William N. Rodgers, Thomas M. Rodgers, of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Susan Rodgers Todd of Newnan; four grandchildren, Michelle Todd O'Bryan (Dave) of Sharpsburg, GA, Stephanie R. Todd of Newnan, GA, Brittany Rodgers and Thomas Rodgers of Virginia Beach, VA; three great-grandchildren, Brent Wray, Lauren O'Bryan and Parker O'Bryan of Sharpsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 9, at Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church, 4096 Lower Fayetteville Rd., Sharpsburg, GA.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Anna N.
