Obituary
Mr. Thurmon Paschal Kemp, 78, of Newnan, Ga., died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008. He is survived by his children, Patti Martin and her husband, Donald, of Jefferson, Ga., Cindy Bearden and her husband, Doug, of Senoia, Lori Kemp of Canton, Mindy White of Dallas, Ga., Lisa Bennett and her husband, Steve, of East Point, Paul Kemp and his wife, Paivi, of Vantaa, Finland, Amy Dowd and her husband, Chris, of Griffin; 7 grandchildren; 3 great- granddaughters; and a sister, Florene Copeland of Birmingham, AL. Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son (Peachtree City) with Rev. Tim Bearden officiating. Interment Westminster Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family received friends Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
